FAQ

Can I sing on your backing tracks and upload them to YouTube?

– Yes, you can! Please note that Piano Karaoke owns the recording of what you are singing on so you will be unable to monetize the video. You must credit Piano Karaoke in the description of your upload with a link to the original video. (Don’t forget to comment in the original upload with a link to your performance. Our community loves supporting each other and we love to see our fans singing on our tracks too!

I love your backing track but can you please upload it in ‘X’ key?

You can make a request to us here: request@pianokaraoke.org

You can get every song in every key for a monthly subscription on our Patreon but if you would prefer to purchase a track to own forever, you can do this:

– Existing Piano Karaoke Instrumental: 1 coffee

– Existing Piano Karaoke Instrumental in a requested key suitable for your voice: 2 coffees

– A Song Request (delivered in 72 hours and sent to you): 10 coffees

– An existing or requested cover instrumental for commercial use (Spotify/iTunes/your YouTube channel etc.) – re-recoded bespoke version: 20 coffees

– MIDI file for an existing or requested cover instrumental, re-recorded bespoke version: 20 coffees

– A song request for commercial use (Spotify/AppleMusic/Tidal…) (delivered in 72 hours and sent to you): 25 coffees

– Show appreciation for what we do daily and for using our instrumentals for your covers: any amount of coffee☕️😊

Can I publish your song on Spotify / Apple Music etc with me singing on them?

– Unfortunately not. The same audio recording cannot be uploaded multiple times by multiple artists due to copyright. We do offer a bespoke custom backing track service and an extremely affordable rate. We could re-record one of our backing tracks played very close to our upload with small variations which will make it a unique recording and free from being a duplicate audio recording. Please contact: mail@pianokaraoke.org to discuss this. 

Be aware that you will need to follow copyright law in your region for doing this which may need clearance from the original songwriters’ publisher.
